Badawi gets ready for War.

I'm no political scientist. But let me try. See if this makes sense.

Im not sure what has happened to Badawi. Either he fired his old Strategist and hired some brainy guy, or his strategist just woke up. His actions over the last 3 days confirmed one thing. Some "Critically Heavy Thinking" is going on to safe his seat. And he is probably adopting the football mantra “Attacking is the best form of Defense”.

Lets see his actions over last 2 days.
1st - He called Anwar Bluff and refused to give face & meet Anwar and asked him to reveal the names instead.
2nd - He has appointed DPM Najib as the Finance Minister With immediate effect.
3rd - He said that his power transition plan with Najib scheduled to complete in 2010 is in tact.
4th - That he as the PM, will now take over the Defence Ministry with immediate effect.
5th - (Probably Has asked) ACA to start investigation on charges that Oposition is offering money to cross over.

All this confirms only one thing. Badawi is getting ready for war, and will fight till the end and is not going to let go of the PM position that easily.

Actually I think the latest turn of events is very neat. Excellently planned. Well executed. You will be surprised on how many things he has "Checked" and "Check Mate-d" with these moves.

Lets analyze it further.
1. Calling Anwar bluff, rite on the day Anwar supposed to take over the government, Badawi actually scored a small victory, and casted a small but reasonable doubt on Anwar’s game plan.. And asking for the names, is just a ploy. Of coz Anwar wont give out the names, no matter what. So A moral victory albeit for Badawi.

2. Just last week Najib mentioned that the Delegates can decide if the transitioning has to happen faster. Not sure what Najib was hinting. I remember reading a piece by RPK which says that Najib has "Kaw-Tim"-ed most of the army Generals and chieftains, and they will be ever ready to lend him any support if he needs it.

So by removing Najib from Defense Ministry, Badawi has cut off any possible support that Najib may garner from his Army boys which he "may have been grooming" for a long time now.

2. Najib going to Finance Ministry is a joke. If you think he is in charge of money, think again. Finance Minister 1 post is a Dummy post. Remember Badawi left it on Auto-Cruise from day one. Dont trust me? see how bad our economy is. Anyway below the Auto-Cruise, There is Black-Cat Nor Mohd Yaakob, a die-hard Badawi loyalist. So Nothing Doing, Najib is not even coming close to any RM's here. So Najib new role is just to supervise Nor Yaakob and maybe he can check out Zeti. As far as I’m concern Najib is History. Maybe like Mahathir said, he should have challenged Badawi while he had the chance. Maybe he might just do it after this re-org. Maybe.

3. So, powerless Najib, will keep his mouth shut and just go along with the Power transfer deal to happen in 2010. He has no options here, unless he fights Badawi, in the next UMNO AGM. But this too is very remote, as Tengku Razali has already proclaimed that he will also be contesting for the top post. It is not going to be easy. And then there is Muhidin Yassin and no one seems to know his plans yet. I am not sure, but i think there may not be enough UMNO divisions to nominate 3 guys to go for a 3 cornered fight.

4. The last one is scary. Badawi taking charge of Defense Ministry. this is a double edged sword for the rest of us. If Badawi puts this ministry on Auto-Cruise, we are dead. And if Badawi takes control we are dead as well. We all know Badawi never actually takes control. He always gets his Mahchai's to do stuff for him. Mahathir says that Badawi mahchai's are holed up in the 4th floor. So imagine what happens when the Military, those 3 Army divisions of Air, Navy and gorund, those tanks, those heli's n those Jet's and the submarines are placed under the control of Mahchais? Scary ain’t it? And with that, Badawi hopes any smart alec (read Anwar and PR) who is thinking of toppling the government, will think twice and may even drop the idea.

5. ACA has now started the investigation that Money is being offered to MP's to cross over. Not too sure who reported this. Some suspected "Frogs" might get called up and even charged.

Actually with His always-fumbling-Proxy Syed Hamid Albar in charge of the Police and Badawi himself controlling the army, ACA in his hind-pocket, any idea of toppling the government, looks a bit remote now. Having full control of Army and Police is enough to hold power for the time being.

It looks like Badawi is not only getting ready to fight, he wants to teach a lesson to all who has been stepping on his tail a lesson too. A lesson they will never forget, even after 2010. Yes in 2010 people will be still nursing their wounds they wont have time to bother abt the power transition any longer.

And I think we can expect more from this Mr.Nice Guy. A Mr Nice Guy who is fast becoming a Mr.Not-So-Nice-Guy with fangs!

Malaysians waiting with a big big hope for change...

The day Is today. The Time is Now.

Many have waited for this day. Some waited with eagerness, some waited in suffering, some are wating in the prisons, some with python in their stomach, some hoping tat this day will never come, some fighing to avoid this day from happening, also some not knowing whats happeing.

We know how the BN power players have continuosly denind that the change promissed by Anwar Ibrahim, will ever happen. The PM called it preposterous, while the Rakyat waited for this day to unfold. This is the day Anwar said he will take over the control of the country from the Draconian BN.. there are also some rumours that PR will also take in a couple more states begining with N9. Rumour la.

The events that unfolded over the last couple of weeks and days have confirmed that something big is indeed unfolding, but the masses just cant seem to be able to put it together. But everyone knows, BN or rather Umno will not just give in easily. even as it is being trapped, it was retaliating violently. But once its trapped into the coner, no one know what may come out of it.

Lets hope Anwar, if he has the numbers as he claims, will get this power transitioning done and over with as fast as possible and he has the game plan rehearsed and executed so many times in his head and that his cheftains know what they need to do, say and act.

The last thing we need in this conutry is a power transitioning mess.

Actually this is one of the events that we have no experience what so ever handling. It was BN all the way for teh last 50 years. This "power transition" is an history by it self.

The market reacted negatively to the uncertainty. KLCI tumbled 12.40 points or 1.19% to its 22-month low
But Najib Was very Coy. Malaysiakini reported that He has no doubts that BN will remain in Power. I am not sure. Either Anwar is lying or BN people are completely unaware of Anwar's approaches.
But what ever it may be, The heart beat of normal malaysians is beating faster today. All they want is change and move on with their lives. Too much time money sweat, blood, future have been wasted, fighting with the BN government.

ISA Arrest Updates

The Joker that we have for a Home Minister, Has issued 2 statements.

The Star SMS alert says:

1) Sin Chew Reporter may be released soon maybe even by Today.
2) No more arrest, but will depend on the "Situation of Public Order"

Emm. Sudden turn of heart? No. I doubt. Maybe they are scared already? Maybe.

malaysiakini reported that "US summons M'sian envoy"
Sep 13, 08 10:32am
The United States summoned Friday Malaysia's top envoy in Washington to protest its crackdown on dissent at a time when the opposition was attempting to take over power in Kuala Lumpur.

Badawi lets the ISA Monster out again to protect his Ass

Yesterday, The nation was rocked to the core yet again by the most dreaded 3 letter word. A 3 letter word that's sends shivers down your spine when u hear it. A 3 letter word that can put u away in the Malaysian "Guantanamo Bay". No the 3 letter word is not a person, so its not AAB. It is ISA. A draconian law. That gives the power to the government to imprison you without trial in Malaysian "guantanamo bay" The Kamunting Prison, for up to 2 years, and subjected to a whole lot of "fun" while detained there.

It started with PRK the prominent Blogger, Then 3 Daily Newspapers were issued with Show cause letter. (Probably even before Sin Chew Lawyers could have read and understood what the show cause letter wanted) Tan Hoon Cheng the Reporter of Sin Chew who broke the racist Ahmad's story was picked up. The last for yesterday was a very prominent and popular Opposition lawmaker (Selangor Senior Exco Member and DAP MP for Seputeh ) YB Theresa Kok.

3 for yesterday. There could be more today and tomorrow.

Government’s latest moves reinforce the suspicion that these are desperate measures taken to undermine what is seen as the unstoppable Anwar Ibrahim and his Pakatan Rakyat mounting a real challenge to the Barisan Nasional.

Its like playing chess. 2 big giants are playing. One is Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and his Dysfunctional BN and some loyal Umno. The other is Pakatan Rakyat and controlled by Anwar Ibrahim.

Seeing that Anwar's the game plan of is too risky and that Anwar can easily kill off all the challenges that's being thrown to him, the Badawi camp got a bit worried. so they let the monster called ISA, out to kill off any more advances.

Next, they will say that all these 3 were insulting Islam. And that the government had no choice but to do this.

May saw this coming. The only issue that existed was the Ahmad guy being an ass of himself and calling people names .

Badawi shd have just issued a Gag order on him and punished him immediately, instead of letting it brew into a big non existential issue.

The we saw a few game plans being executed. first Badawi says STOP it!. (don't know to who he was saying it. he is blur as usual) 2nd Badawi also issued a statement saying that Gov will not hesitate to use ISA on those who touch on sensitive issues. (But Ahmad was only suspended for 3 years from UMNO) then 3rd there was some big guy from the army calling on the Gov to take serious action. Army calling on the PM? impressive drama. by then many had already seen it coming. and yesterday ISA was out in action.

Pathetic. Mr.Prime Minister, you are pathetic and your management stinks big time. I wish you had never become a Prime Minister at all. No country in this entire earth deserves a humiliation of having you as a Prime Minister. Is this the way how you manage the country? No seriously. is this the way? Do you manage a country by making sure problems are handled at the root and solved before they become a big issue and burst? or DO you on your own let it become big and maybe also fan it up a bit, politize it a bit, and use it as a tool, use your dummy media to hype it up, and then make it a big problem that threatens the nation and use it to "Fix any opposition" permanently and with that prolong your hold on power? which is which? You are Pathetic.
Once you leave office, i think a School of Abdullah Badawi Management Studies must be setup in UM or USM, to study what repercussion as nation can have when they appoint idiots to run the country. This must be thought throughout the world to ensure there will no one like you ever takes charge of a country and rip it apart like how your have successfully done to Malaysia Today.

I tend to agree with what M.Bakri Musa has to say abt this. His Cave man Theory Makes perfect sense. Read more here.
MalaysiaKini has a write up on the same issue. Looks like PM's plans and tactics are yet again a laughing matter.

Good hearted Samy never claimed the Land.

News Quoted from The Star

MIC obtained land for HQ by legal means, says Subra

KUALA LUMPUR: The MIC applied and obtained approval to build its headquarters on a piece of land in Bandar Utama in 2000, its secretary-general Datuk Dr S. Subramaniam said.
He said the party made the application to the Petaling Land office via its trustees as required under the party's constitution.

“At all times, the Petaling land office and Selangor state executive council knew about the alienation of the land for the benefit of MIC. All communication between the state exco, land office and MIC was on the basis that MIC was the proprietor of the land,” he said in a statement.
Subramaniam was commenting on reports in an English daily that MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu was the beneficial owner of a plot of land in Bandar Utama originally meant for a Tamil school. Half of the land was later given to the party.
He said the premiums, rates and quit rent on the land was always paid by the MIC. (well will he pay a single sen from his pocket, when MIC is there to pay his bills?)
“The title deed for the land was issued on July 2005, five years after the application was made and kept in the custody of the party's property division. They, however, overlooked the error in the description of the proprietor,” he said.
Subramaniam said the error was brought to the attention of the Selangor Director General of Land and Mines and the MIC was taking steps to rectify it through its lawyers. (when was this? After TheSun Reported it last week?)
Samy Vellu has never claimed ownership of the land (does he need to, when he is the owner?) and it has been disclosed as an asset of the party in all its audited accounts since 2000,” he said.(does it matter actualy? how trustable is your accounts? many say the only thing creative in MIC is the way it does its accounts)
Subramaniam said the news reports alleging that Samy Vellu is the beneficial owner were untrue and claimed that it was made by persons associated with the present state government for their political agenda. (Untrue? then is the land office records exposed in Malaysia Today a Lie too? see below. )

“There are media reports that the present state government may take steps to seize the land but MIC will vigorously defend its rightful ownership of the land,” he said. (whose rightful ownership? Samy's right?)
Some Key Questions to the Morons who run the Ma Ik Ka.
1) You idiots din have a Clue that the Land was actually allocated for a Tamil School?
2) Who in MIC approved the purchace of the land allocated for a school?
3) If it was never reported, some times in the future, what legal means that MIC as a party will have from stopping Samy or his beneficiaries from claiming the land?
4) How come even the MIC auditors missed the "error" of the Land ownership since 2000?

The 101 Samy Nights folk lore

All along many have said that Samy normally has a hand in every piece of cake that the Indian community gets. And he normally has a Lions share out of the crumbs that the UMNO throws to the Indians.

Well don't trust me? That's whats Maika Issue is all about.

So goes the folk lore. The 101 Samy Nights folk lore. Why a folklore? its because there are no one to tell any story. As we know prior to the March 8th Election, everything was under "Their" control.

But now, the monopoly has been infiltrated. Now, we are hearing the true stories and alot of hidden secrets and skeletons are appearing out of peoples closets. Likewise, today we had one skeleton popping out from Samy's closet.

The new PR government of Selangor, had revealed that the Lost Land in Bandar Utama, that's supposed to be used to build a Tamil school, which purportedly has been sold to MIC as the Care taker only. The Beneficial owner, according to official Records would be ....SAMY.

Oh My God!. Samy? there must be some mistake or this is some kind of sick joke the PR government trying to pull?

I cant wait for Samy's response. I always love the comments made by Samy. Its hilariously stupid. Period.

Malaysia.... I Love You!

In a few hours, it will be 31st Aug. A date that Malaysians irregardless of color, creed, race, ethnicity, economic status, will strongly remember. A date that will never be forgotten, generations to come.

It was on this day 51 years ago, our beloved nation got its independence. 31st Aug 1957. A very memorable day. Its the day Malaysia as a nation got its own meaning.

The day when Stadium Merdeka got its glory. Malaysia Was finally free. Malaysia was finally on its own. Malaysia was given back to its people

Anyone who had been alive during those times and had the capacity to understand what was going around, would remember the tough times that we had during the preceding years and how much Merdeka actually set then FREE.

During the 50 years being an independent Nation, we went thru a lot of good and bad times. Bad time include the Many economic cycles, recessions, inflation, many many other problems like the racial clashes, Disasters, Natural calamities, many sorrows etc etc.

But Despite all these, as a nation, i think we ought to be damn proud of our selves. despite so many misgiving, and misfortunes, we are much much better off then most countries in this world. The people of Malaysia, have proved that despite all the external and internal influences to shake the very core of our nation, we have manged to stick together thru think and thin.

51 years after that, we are having a hell-of-a great feeling once again in celebrating our Merdeka. I hope we will march toward hitting the 100 years of independence in much better state that we are now.

May god bless Malaysia.

I love Yo Malaysia.

Selemat Hari Merdeka!.

M-Today Blocked. MCMC takes Malaysia Back to Dark Ages.

I think someone is up to no good...... i heard some people in Malaysia wants badly to bring back this country back to Dark ages. ;o(

They did this last year on some Internet investment web sites. Now they have done it again. Those Morons got up from their long sleep and have suddenly blacked out Malaysia Today since yesterday Evening.

And all this while we are still protected by the "No Censorship" Umbrella guaranteed under our Multimedia Laws. (Read YB Jeff's post on the Clauses.)

Malaysiakini reported that :

Why is it so important to block M-Today?. Is it a national threat?
On what basis is it being blocked?

Mr.MCMC, pls come out from under whoever's skirt, and explain why your Stupid move is needed? Why Why Why?

For the life of me i can't think of one tiny reason why you would even recommend to do this.

But wait, apparently they have responded........

MCMC COO Mohamed Sharil Tarmizi the smart Alec who runs the show at MCMC, says “It is being blocked because we found that some of the comments on the website were insensitive, bordering on incitement,” that's what he had told Malaysiakini.

Bordering on incitement? What incitement? why do you feel so? did you ask us the rakyat if we are being incited? who is feeling incited? no actually i must ask whose ass you trying to save?

F u Man! bordering incitement my arse!

pardon my french, seem to have little tolerance for Dick heads lately!

If anything, I think the Stupid government must thank Web sites like M-Today, coz, its due to sites like this and the type of contents and the type of free discussions that it can create, that we may now have more people online now. we have more people being more informed. People now can think on both sides. people are coming out of their silo-thinking.

Thanks but no Thanks MCMC, for the offer to take us back to Stone-age. Hang You! or F-OFF!.

If BN is thinking M-Today as a reason for their humiliating defeat in Permatang Pauh, then they should think again. I wonder why these people can be so blind? are these people so dumb to thatt extend they cant see what the People really want?
Tommorow, one of the Jokers, either Najib,or Badawi or Syed Hamid, will give a statement, that the Government had nothing to do with This, and MCMC acted correctly based on their investigation.

Does BN think blocking M-Today can bring back the support that they have almost lost? Emmm... if that can happen then those Fat Pigs can fly too.

I Re quote YB.Jeff (of coz without his permission la):

"Therefore, I ask all Malaysian bloggers -- and editors from the mainstream media -- to stand up to this challenge, hang the MCMC in the international arena. Because of the S T U P I D I T Y at MCMC, Malaysia is now a banana republic."

2nd Political Tsunami hits Malaysia !!!

After the March 8th 1st political Tsunami, Malaysians (Permatang Pauh voters in particular) delivered a 2nd Tsunami today Reminding the Blind Government of Malaysia that the people are fed-up and are ready for change at whatever the cost. Aug 26th will go down in the Modern Malaysian History as the date that the 2nd wave hit.

If the 1s Tsunami brought a busload and more Opposition MP's into the Parliament, the 2nd Tsunami will now bring in their much feared leader Dato'Anwar (DSAI) into the Parliament. With that, finally the wait is over. After 10 years, DSAI will be making a comeback to the Parliament.

According to Malaysiakini ... while the much feared Dato' Anwar got 31,195 votes, the Mandarin speaking, BN candidate Arif Shah, 15,524, Hanafi, 92. That means, Anwar won with a majority of 15,671. Anwar's wife, Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, won the seat with a 13,388 majority.

With this, Malaysia will hopefully get a 2nd shot at democracy, Malaysian Parliament will regain some of its lost glitter. While the Malaysian people will be hoping to wrest back their "Makkal sakthi" from the Pseudo-Democratic Band-o-Robbers that we have for a present government ;o)

Wonder if the police will still try to get a Court order from one of the Lingam appointed judges, to prevent DSAI from entering within 2KM of the Parliament Building, as he is a national threat. Pun Intended. ;oP
A message for Dato' Anwar, Sir, Now that the Malaysians' have brought you back to where you fell from, we hope you will now start doing something for us in return.

A country which should have been in real Glory, much much better than what Singapore is now, is struggling being beaten by the likes of Vietnam and Indonesia. Pls Help us and Save The country!

This will be the Best Merdeka ever for Me!.

I may finally raise up a flag after all!
